The LTU SPS Women in Physics Committee has recieved a $1,000 grant from the American Physics Society for our Women in Science activities! WiP committee co-chairs Andrea Houck and Christina Wallace intend to use the grant to help pay for guest speaker presentation expenses, make the study of physics more approachable to the LTU community, and assist in recruiting undergraduate women to the department.
LTU SPS has been awared the Outstanding Chapter Award by SPS National for the 2020-2021 semester. We would like to congratulate all SPS members for making this possible!
